B2 Bike Carrier for Transit (2015+ Medium & High Roof Vans)
The B2, the world’s most popular bike carrier for Sprinters, is now available for the Ford Transit! Owl went back to the drawing board to engineer a completely new mounting system specifically for the Transit. This means the new Transit B2 is one of the lightest yet strongest carriers on the market.
All New Mounting System – The Transit doors are nothing like the Sprinter. In fact, the Transit doors are vastly more difficult to design a rock solid mount due to their structure. We don’t do weak parts, so we burned the midnight oil and engineered hinge brackets that can support close to 1000 lbs (no, that is not what you should put on your B2!). These brackets work with both types of hinges. Best of all they don’t require re-alignment of the doors as you have to do with all other products on the market.
B2 Highlights – What we did keep, is the DNA that has made the B2 the most popular bike carrier in the industry. Four modular mounting plates running the length of the tubes allow total adjustability for mounting bikes as well as a variety of other accessories. Perfect for individuals that want a stable but simple to use bike carrier system. No Door Realignment Necessary: With other company’s carriers, you have to fully remove the hinge from the door during installation. This means you have to realign the door when you’re finished. This can be a labor-intensive task and easy to get wrong. The new Owl billet brackets do not require removing the hinge therefore your door keeps its factory alignment.

Sherpa Cargo Carrier – Sprinter VS30 (2019-Present) & Revel (2020+)
The New Sherpa Cargo System for 2019-present Sprinter and Revel (2020+) The most versatile and innovative way to carry all your critical gear. Sherpa is totally configurable allowing you to mount almost anything: Bikes, generators, cargo boxes, Rotopax, fuel cans, skis, and much much more. Better yet, items can be quickly switched, based on trip or season. Sherpa is CNC machined from a solid plate of rugged yet lightweight aluminum. With over 150 mounting holes and 40 slots, means you can always find just the right mount.
The Sherpa is great for mounting bikes vertically for easy loading and unloading. Please keep in mind, that the Sherpa is not intended to mount E-Bikes bike vertically. Bikes will have some movement when traveling, this is normal. Always use the verticle kit and safety straps when mounting bikes vertically. We work closely with 1up and both our and their engineers have approved the vertical mounting of their trays.
The Sherpa is designed to be configurable and changed between trips. Keep in mind that mounting items to the Sherpa can cause normal wear and tear to the finish.

Monster Box (XL Cargo Box)
Hands down the biggest box you can buy for your adventures. A box so big we had to call it the Monster. Owl’s medium and large Expedition boxes have become the industry standard for high-end builds. We still wanted more, more storage, more features, more…
Size – The biggest box on the market. Owl’s new Monster box measures 40″x24″x16″ and holds 8.8. cubic feet of gear (interior dims 39.5″x23.5″x12.5″).
Dual-Fold Door – We not only wanted to maximize storage but also provide some new features currently not available in the market. The bottom door folds down providing a stable working area for setting up a grill, food prep or many other tasks. The top door folds up and allows for use of an LED light. Now when you’re working at night you can see your work area with just a tap.
Gear Plates – On the front of the Monster box is Owl’s signature hold and slot design allowing you to mount your must-have small trail accessories. (shovel shown is not included with box)
Weight – All aluminum construction means this giant box is still a lightweight (65lbs)
Mounting – While the Monster box can mount to almost anything, it is pre-drilled for the Owl B2 (the recommended mounting structure)
Accessories – To make the bottom door even more work-friendly we CNC’ed a cutting board insert (available soon, sold separately).
Adjustable Shelf – The shelving in the Monster box is adjustable up and down, you can even add an additional shelf if desired. This means you can pack in four Owl Gear Totes and still have some room above! The Monster box comes standard with one adjustable shelf but more can be purchased separately.
*Note – If you wish to mount bikes above the Monster box (they will be very high) it can be done with the addition of a Mini-Sherpa. Additional holes will need to be drilled in the Mini Sherpa.


Mini-Monster Box
We were blown away by how much people loved our Monster box for its storage capacity, clamshell opening and work table. People loved it so much that they wanted us to make it in a more compact “Large” size in addition to the XL Monster. Enter the Mini-Monster. The only thing mini about this box is its name. The Mini-Monster Box is the same size as our standard Large Expedition box (the most popular van box in the world).
The Mini-Monster shares all the details that made the Monster box so popular. It is constructed entirely of aluminum, pre-drilled for the B2, and trail-tested to last a lifetime.
Size – 30″-Tall/24″-Wide/16″-Deep

This is the gold standard of Sprinter Tire Carrier. Owl invented hinge mounted tire carriers back in 2018. Since then, we have refined the carrier to be lighter, stronger and even easier to install. Why Mount A Tire On The Rear? – This is a common question and the answer is simple. If you’re going to be taking your van off-road, then you’re going to need a full-sized spare. Even if you can stuff your tire under, it can often be hard or impossible to get out in muddy or off-road conditions. Explorer Sprinter Side Ladder
Sprinter Side ladders are one of the most identifiable items that make a van look like an Adventure Van. While popular, side ladders also have some major drawbacks when it comes to offroading or overlanding. That’s why Owl waited until we had a completely new design that addressed those past problems and brought the side ladder into a new form
Problem – Until Owl, the biggest problem with side ladders was the potential of heavy damage to your van. When current side ladders get hung up on a stump or rock, they not only damage the ladder, but they typically do heavy amounts of damage to the bottom side and rockers of the van as well. Repairs can run into the thousands and involve cutting and resending large sections of your van…not a fun way to end a trail run… But we have a fix!
What the team did is purposely engineer a weak point in the ladder when a force is applied laterally. When you climb the ladder the force is vertical in the downward direction. Should a heavy lateral load be applied to the ladder, such as getting hung up on a rock, the bottom aluminum bolts will sheer off. This allows the bottom of the ladder to break free from the van and limit any additional damage to the van. Mountain bikes have used this type of system for years on derailleur hangers. Derailleurs are the very expensive gear-changing systems that hang off the side of bikes. They are attached with a similar thin tab of aluminum. This way, if the bike is in an accident the small aluminum tab breaks and keeps the derailleur in one piece. Most times, you simply replace the cheap aluminum tab and you’re good to go.
Shape – When designing this new side ladder, we started by laser scanning the side of the Sprinter so we could contour our tubing to perfectly follow the side of the van. This allowed our tubing to be much tighter to the van than competitive ladders. The result is a ladder that keeps your van as narrow as possible and drastically lowers the risk of catching the ladder on an obstacle.
Modularity – Vans are wonderful for adventure because you can take them where you can’t take larger RVs. That also means vans are tight on space. That is why we build in modularity to almost every product we sell. This means a side ladder is more than a side ladder. It can become a place for additional fuel or water, maybe surfboards or traction boards? With the ability to easily mount items to the proprietary hole pattern on the ladder, we open up a world of possibilities beyond simply going put to the roof.
Universal mount-ability – The Owl Side Ladder mounts to the factory roof rails already on the top of your van. It does not mount directly to the roof rack like many competitive offerings. This means the Owl Side Ladder works with the roof rack you already have. No need to build any custom mounts or buy extra parts. 1up Bike Tray
For those who have not had experience with the 1up bike trays, these units are fantastic. These American Made bike trays are all aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Most bike trays are a hodgepodge of plastic and cheap aluminum tubing with hardware that rusts. We only sell 1up trays because they are the best bike carriers in the industry.
